I’m primarily a songwriter. My goal is to make memorable music that stands out on its own merit. Songs that speak for themselves, and talk from the heart, whether written for me or for others.
I write because music has always been the most honest way I can make sense of the world. Each song I create is meant to say something that matters. Songs about love, struggle, hope, or the human condition. I want my work to connect, to comfort, and to remind listeners that they’re not alone in what they feel.
Collaboration is at the heart of what I do. I work with other musicians and singers from different backgrounds, combining our strengths to make music that’s bigger than any one of us. Whether I’m writing lyrics for another artist, shaping melodies in the studio, or recording my own songs, I aim for truth, emotion, and timelessness.
Above all, I believe songs should mean something. Not just sound good, but say something, last beyond the moment, and carry the kind of honesty that makes people stop and really listen.

Hallgreenboy (a.k.a Stephen C. Hamill) is a Scotland UK-based singer-songwriter and author, known for his poetic storytelling and emotionally resonant music. With over 20 self-released tracks spanning pop, indie, folk, and electronica, Hallgreenboy writes, records, and performs all of his music. His songs explore themes of hope, strength, transformation, and human connection, blending cinematic atmospheres with heartfelt lyrics.
Beyond music, Hallgreenboy is also an author of adult and children’s books, bringing the same attention to narrative and emotion into his writing.
